Personal Note: My inspiration for this painting stemmed from a painful experience in my life. I felt this great horned owl calling to me - to lend me strength and courage to see through deceptions and betrayal. As I look into his eyes, he reminds me that each one of us has a warrior's heart within us. Rise above whatever obstacle blocks our path to happiness. Refuse to become absorbed into the pain and anger. The owl is a powerful ally and friend who will stay by our side.
